Full course description
The last few years have been incredibly difficult to work in education.
From the collective trauma of surviving a pandemic while being asked to teach virtually to the current realities facing us of budget cuts, staff reductions, and programming changes across the United States – you have been asked to hold so much, both personally and professionally.
And so have our students, families, and community leaders.
There has never been a more important time than now for teachers to focus on rebuilding, repairing, and restoring the relational fabric between our schools and our communities.
In this practical and accessible 5-session course, you'll learn new instructional strategies, tools, and frameworks to immediately use in your classroom to build relationships with families and community leaders and connect student learning with the real issues being faced beyond the school’s walls.
